SRH administrativia query
Recently, the moderator announced that a plan was being
considered to tag posts according to their contents. Let
me ask once again how such decisions are made - when I last
asked how the charter of the newsgroup could be changed,
the answers were so vague as to be useless.
Let me propose the following: a formal system should be
discussed and voted upon whereby the charter of the
newsgroup can be amended. In this manner, the readers of
the newsgroup can feel assured that there is some fair and
open process by which these decisions are made.
Currently, we _still_ haven't heard the outcomes of the
last administrative changes proposed by the moderator, which
were the English-only rule, and the attempt to ban certain
words. Have those passed or failed? When I last asked several
months ago, I was told that they were still being considered,
and that no decision had been made.
Has a decision been reached yet? It seems only fair that the
readers should have some vague notion about how long this
entire process should take and how the outcome is determined.
