Considering that the newsgroup really started in October 1995, or around
that time and the newsgroup was in fullfledge operation for only a
couple of months before the RFD, these stats are most pertinent. In
fact, even now there are innuendos that there are continuing delays in
approvals. The above stats puts them to rest for any honest observer.
I have previously mentioned the alt.hindu related matters and hardware
upgrade at rbhatnagar site, as other reasons why in Oct/Nov 1995 there
were a couple of delays. Wouldn't you agree, that with two back-up
accounts, the problems have been addressed, and for seven out of nine
months (I will add Dec stats later), the figure of 5.37 sets of postings
per week hold?
