: I guess the favourite sites would be relative to the person. My
: favourites are:
: (i) Sabarimalai (Temple for the Lord Ayyapa (Dharmasashta) (Kerala)).
: (ii) Thiruvannamalai (Temple of Lord Shiva (Aranuncalam)) (TN)).
: (iii)Uppiliappan Koil (Temple of Sri Venkateshwarar, contemporary to
: Thirupati (Thirunakeshwaram) (TN)).
: (iv) Mangadu (Temple for the Godess Shakti) (outskirts of Madras TN).
To add a few more from Kerala,
1. Guruvayoor temple ( Sri Krishna ), Kerala
2. Sri Padmanabhaswami temple at Thiruvanathanpuram, Kerala
( Mahavishnu in Anatha Sayana)
3. Ettumanoor Bhagavati temple , at Ettumanoor, Kerala
4. Shiva temple, at Chengannur, Kerala
5. The historic Shiva temple, at Trichur, Kerala
