REQUEST : Seniors, religion and the Internet

I'm a reporter with The Canadian Press, the national news
agency that serves most of the daily newspapers in
Canada.

I'm hoping to prepare a story about religion and the
Internet and I was wondering if some in this newsgroup could help me out.

This particular article will be aimed at an older audience.

Specifically, I'm trying to find seniors who are using the
Internet to maintain contact with their places of worship or religious studies.

We know that the younger generations have taken
to the Internet quite easily, but we often assume that
anyone over 50 is ignorant of what the net has to
offer.

Do you know of any seniors who regularly use the
Internet to help maintain their faith?

Do you know of anyone who might know more about this topic?

I can be reached at the office at 416-364-0321 x.318. Or via
e-mail at the above address or
macdon@inforamp.net.

I look forward to hearing from you.
