There is sad news to offer today. The media are
reporting that as many as 34 Amarnaath Yaatree(s) have
left their mortal selves due to exposure to the harsh
weather. Temperatures at Pahalgam at the base of the
trek have fallen below the freezing point. More than a
hundred thousand Hindus are believed to be participating
in the pilgrimage this year.
