ARTICLE : Reuters Reports.. Did you notice the change ?
Dear Friends:
I am posting one of the latest news reports found on
clari.world.asia.india newsgroup from Reuters regarding the tragedy in
Amarnath. I feel fairly confident that it is the protestations
that caused them to change the reporting- though I cannot confirm it.
I hope and pray that such a tragedy does not repeat again.
Regarding the biased reports - We have to understand that
most of these reports are filed by individuals (Reporters) from India
and whatever bias that person has shows up in the report. Unfortunately
the authors name in the reports does not always show up in Newspapers and
people just believe what they read in the Newspaper as fact and may not
notice the "spin" or "angle" in reporting a incident.
In my opinion - New York Times is very biased wheras the Wall Street Journal
is a little better ( though not by very much)
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SENT IN A PROTEST !
Anyway heres the two versions from Reuters:
This first one is from Aug-28th and the second form Aug-24th
