You can learn about basic fundamentals about
Hinduism at http://www.hindunet.org
You might also want to go to http://www.yahoo.com
and look under Religions for Hinduism to find
information about some other Hindu
temples/organisations.
To become a Hindu: I would suggest that you go
to a Hindu Temple of your choice express your
wishes to the priest there and accept the water
that is given out after a "aarati". Also, try to
find some books on Hinduism and get to know more
about it - am sure a lot of books can be found
in your local bookstore.
