Original word was not "kill" but murder. There is a big different between
the two. You can kill without being a murder. Killing animals is not a
murder. Killing in self defense is not a murder, etc. So Bible is not
against killing, it is against murdering.

That is the beauty of Hinduism. It is so vast and flexible that it can
borrow, adapt, expand, etc. and still stay true to it's root. That is it's
strength not it's weakness.
