All the Satvik Puranas declare that Sharanagathi or devotional surrender
to Vishnu (Lord Sriman Narayana or Krishna) can releive us from the cycle
of birth and death.

Yes! There is a big difference. Surrendering to Shiva will get you
significant material benefits but can not releive you from the cycle of
birth and death.

No! I am not a Hare Krishna devotee. Why do you brand me as a Hare
Krishna devotee when I revealed the truth propogated by all the satvik
puranas including Srimad Bhagavatham, Padma Puranam, etc. Also, there is
nothing wrong for one to be a Hare Krishna devotee. You sound like we
have to discard the opinion of these devotees. I am sure there are
significantly more realized than us.

Yes! There is only one god and several demigods. "Vasudava Sarvamithi
(Vasudava is everything)" as
declared in Bhagavadgitha, Srimad Bhagavatham, Padma Puranam etc,
"Narayana Prabrhama Sarvakarana Karanam" Narayana is the cause of all
causes. The question I was attempting to address was "why the rishis get
angry." People who desire material benefits or have some ulterior motive
seek other demigods, and Sriman Narayana alone can releive us from the
cycle of birth and death. If you analyze the names you will find the
truth. For instance Vishnu means all pervading. Should that One God be
not called as all pervading (Vishnu) ? Similarly, try to analyze the
other names of Vishnu (eg. Sriman Narayana, Krishna), and also analyze
the names of demigods like Shiva, Indra, etc.; Then you will find the
difference.

With all glories to Lord Sriman Narayan, I remain,

Sincerely
