You've quoted one source which clearly isn't comprehensive. It doesn't
even mention the story that's already been discussed on SRH about
Shiva not receiving a guest properly and the resulting curse.
Given that this story isn't too obscure (I believe it even appears in
an Amar Chitra Katha book), I would venture that its omission in the
"Encyclopedic Dictionary" is intentional.
Here's an interesting question - does anyone know what word the Kama
Sutra uses for penis?
