Actually, while I was being tongue-in-cheek, I do find it humorous
that the campaigns that I've seen led on the internet usually aim for
the small fry rather than anything meaningful. I believe that the
charge to get news agencies to stop referring to "AUM Supreme Truth"
using the term "AUM" is still on the Hindunet pages, but really -
which do you imagine is longer lived - one small-time Japanese cult or
fragrances at the Gap?

Also, nobody's ever mentioned the corruption of the word "avatar" that
will soon become the predominant use of the word. Every online service
will, in the near future, give their users the option to "create"
their very own "avatars".

However, the Hindu world gets all abuzz when a newsgroup doesn't
contain the word Hindu in it.

Yeah, makes sense to me.
