My comments were sincere too. It didn't stop you from thinking them
cheap. Much is in the eye of the beholder. Guidance was asked for and
guidance was given.

My feelings about the Ramakrishna Math are by know well known so I won't
bother repeating them. Suffice it to say my religion is not 100 years old
it's a couple of thousand years old. So I'm a little more qualified to
address what tradition demands than any Ramakrishnaite.
A lot of people are very sincere about learning. Harvard still makes them
take an entrance test and if they don't do well enough it doesn't let them
in. Sacred knowledge must not be given to those who are unfit for it.
The shastras are very clear on this. Any Guru or acharya who isn't just
out to relieve people of their money takes this very seriously. Based on
what this person has said in his post he flits from experience to
experience. And when he gets disillusioned with this experience he'll
move on to something else. I've known several people like this on a
futile quest for an authenticity that doesn't exist. Wasting time on that
sort only diverts resources from more worthwhile endeavors.
