The avatars of Vishnu Bhagawan are innumerable so no one knows them all
but the common list is of 10.

1. Matsya (When the world was covered with water Vishnu Bhagawan became a
fish and protected Manu Vaivasvat the present ancestor of mankind.) 2.
Kurma (During the samudra manthana Vishnu Bhagavan became a giant tortoise
to carry Mt. Mandara which was used for churning.) 3. Varaha (When the
world had sunk under water, Vishnu Bhagawan became a boar to raise it up.)
4. Narasinha (Vishnu Bhagawan became a half Man-half Lion to save bhakta
Prahlad from his father.) 5. Vamana (In the guise of a Brahman dwarf
Vishnu Bhagawan tricked Bali raja into giving up rulership over the
universe.) 6. Parshurama (Rama the axe-wielder, the son of Maharshi
Jamadagni killed all the Kshatriyas), 7. Rama (Whose story is told in the
Ramayana) 8. Krshna (Whose story is told in the Mahabharata, Bhagavat
Purana etc.) 9. Buddha (the founder of Buddhism which was created to
confuse the asuras) 10. Kalki (an avatar yet to come who will usher in the
next satya yuga)

or there's this list in the Bhagavat Purana.

1. The Sanatkumars (four Rshis who take the form of eternally youthful
Brahman boys) 2. Varaha 3. Devarshi Narad (the foremost teacher of Bhakti)
4. Nara and Narayana (two Rshis) 5. Maharshi Kapila (the teacher of the
Samkhya shastra) 6. Datta Bhagawan (Dattatreya the son of Maharshi Atri.
7. Yagna (whose adopted son was Manu Swyambhuva the first man.) 8.
Rajarshi Rshabdev (oddly enough Jains regard him as one of their
tirthankars or prophets.) 9. King Prthu (after whom the earth is named
Prthvi) 10. Matsya 11. Kurma 12. Dhanvantari (During the samudra manthana
he arose carrying the Amrt kalash. He is also regarded as the patron of
medicine.) 13. Mohini (when the Asuras took the amrt kalash Vishnu
Bhagawan took the form oa a bewitching apsara and tricked them into giving
it back.) 14. Narasinha 15. Vaman 16. Parashuram 17. Maharshi Veda Vyas
(who arranged the Vedas and wrote the Mahabharata, Puranas, and Brahma
Sutras) 18. Rama 19. Balarama (the elder brother of Krshna Bhagawan) 20.
Krshna 21. Buddha 22. Kalki

They are just as important. But let's face it, a fish just isn't as
interesting as Shri Rama.
