Actually Jesus of Nazareth draws enough parallels between himself and God
to be absolutely sure what he talking about. That he is/was a human
incarnation of God and whether one prays to God or to himself they are
praying to the same "entity".
But there's absolutely countless other parallels. Krishna being called
the Infinite and the Ultimate. Sri Ramakrishna through his countless
escapades. Ganesha running around Shiva and Parvati three times. In the
case of both Krishna and Jesus there is God and there is the human
incarnation of God. Krishna is not less God than the Infinite is God.
Jesus many times asked for signs so that the apostles might believe.
As I said previously, I am a yogi and a former Christian extremist. The
Christian Bible only records a limited quantity of information about Jesus
of Nazareth. There is a myth saying that during several of the
intervening years he traveled to the Himalayas and sought teaching. This
cannot be proven by Hebrew, Roman, or Indian (Pakistani) documents.
Although I may not think much of Christianity, I do respect Jesus as an
avatar, as I respect all avatars.
Bests,
Jay
