Good guess but I was refering to Vivekanand. I have no objection to
anyone following him or Aurobindo or any of those people. Many religions
have been created in India, I'm sure many more will. Just don't pretend
these religions have anything to do with the living tradition of the
Vedas. And don't pretend modern interpretations are correct ones.

Me neither, as that would require me to actually read his stuff. All I
know is none of my teachers ever felt the need to quote his work even to
attack it. If those more learned than I saw no reason to read him than
neither do I. We are not in favor of novelty. To call something "new and
improved" is no compliment to us. The test of a philosophy is its
commitment to age-old principles.
