INFO : 1997 Interfaith Calendars

Every year, the Interfaith Association of Central Ohio makes interfaith
calendars available to the community. The 1997 Interfaith calendars are now
available. The calendar covers the months of December 1996 - January 1998.
The colorful calendar highlights one religious community each month and
includes the holidays / significant days of each faith for the whole year.
It features the following faith traditions:

American Indian
Anglican Christianity
Baha'i
Buddhism
Catholic Christianity
Hinduism
Islam
Jainism
Judaism
Latter-day Saints
Orthodox Christianity
Protestant Christianity
Sikhism
Zoroastrianism

For each community there is a summary of their basic tenets and their
major religious writings, as well as pictures, photographs, and graphics
from their tradition. All the information for each community featured in
the calendar has been prepared by representatives from that community.
The calendar has been prepared by The National Conference in Chicago.

The cost is $ 15 per calendar (including mailing within US and Canada). If you
would like to order a copy, please send a check payable to "Interfaith
Association of Central Ohio" and mail the check to:

The 1997 Interfaith calendars are being sold by The Interfaith Association
of Central Ohio (IACO). IACO consists of representatives from Baha'i,
Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish and Sikh faith. This not-for-profit
organization promotes an inter-religious community based on understanding,
friendship and trust among various faith traditions.
