Within this cast system hindu's themselves are divided and the lowest cast system are "shudurs" which are considered to be deprived of all sort of basic human rights. The person who is not a hindu, I dont know what level he resides, this seems to be full of racism to me. > 2. You contradict your own statement as you said > > 1. A "true Muslim" should only eat meat cut by a Muslim facing the Mecca. > >> The Muslim butcher must face the Mecca, say a few words in the name of > >> Allah, and then decapitate the animal slowly. > >> 2. Incase the above is not done, the meat is considered to be "haraam" or > >> impure. > >> 3. When we stretched the point a little further, we realized one frightening > >> aspect :: > >> If a Hindu or Sikh kills the animal and offers it to a Muslim as meat, it > >> is not considered to be "HALAAAL" but "HARAAAM". > >> 4. To me the above came as a "revelation." It smacks of RACISTovertones. > > First you are using incomplete definition of halal haram here. In Islam all vegetations are halal, fish are halal, and only certain kind of animals are halal like goat, cows which are not predatory or filthy. Now to eat them there are rules how to take an animals life. Some animals like Pig is not halal. Even if a Muslim would cut it it still is not halal. This also means that if a non muslim offers food like vegetation or fish to a muslim, it is hundere percent acceptable. > Like you said, Muslim would eat a halal animal which was living and cut according to law describe by Allah is eatable. The only pre requisite is that the person should be a believer in one True God. So any such believer whcih could be Muslim, Jew, Christian or any believer of One True God performs the duty as describe by God himself does it, the animal is eatable. The animal is not eatable if the person who cuts it and takes the name of some thing which is not the one true God, is not Halal. And my friend Islam is religion of believing. The First pre requisite for being a muslim is to believe in One True God. If a person who doesn't belive in the One True God, merely mutters something doesn't mean any thing. Because he doesn't have the believe. > In Hinduism, I think there are certain restriction regarding eating meats as part of religion itself. One beauty of Islam is that its not based on some ones personal opinion. That's why The holy book of God has remain unchanged for last 1400 years and will remain so. Some one's personal opinion, could be correct or wrong. So how do we know whats right and whats not. Right is what Allah has told is right, and Wrong is what Allah has told to be wrong. Allah has told about the most basic of dos & donts. Thats what should be right and wrong for a true Muslim. There is no contradiction or personal opinion to that. After all a Muslim believes in The reserection day in which Allah will ask of what he/she has done in their life and will be questioned about the dos & donts. Thats quiet logical and makes a lot of sense. Do what is allowed and shun what is not allowed. > What sort of human behaviour you say Quranx is restricting? would you
like to shed some light on it? > >
