The shiva gItA is from the padma purANa. There is brief description of the text
in "The Puranas", by Ludo Rocher. There is a commentary on this by some
advaitic teachers. I don't think there is an English translation available. If
you'ld like a bibliography of texts which have _only_ the Sanskrit original, I
can dig it up from my files for you. I seem to recall that some of it has been
translated to Intalian (information from Rocher's book).

The text is an advaitic text and it quotes the usual upanishhads to support the
advaitic point of view. It also recommends shiva bhakti for purification of the
mind.
