The Gita is always new, always fresh.

I agree with you so I am not sure we disagree. :> When I say "our" I
mean those of us who consciously identify with Sanathana Dharma or
Hinduism. But you are quite right that the teachings are everyone, and
that the Dharma has no limitations. In fact, it's this universal aspect
which so drew me to Hinduism.

Sometimes I close my eyes, and try to imagine how it would have been to
be one of those people living in a dusty Rajasthan village as the dusk
covers the day, and then feeling the excitement of hearing and watching
Mirabai as she sang and danced. Surely she must have appeared crazy to
the people, yet her devotion and essence attracted them to her. I have
thought it would be nice to stage a moving dance/song/drama of Mirabai's
journeying in a large hall where the audience would also move to
different settings within the structure. It might be possible to
recreate in a way which wouldn't be possible on a normal stage.
Actually, here I have a friend who is a wonderful teacher of katak
dance, who would be just the person to choreograph such a performance.

Again, thank you. The feeling's mutual.
