Of course not - all you need to do to claim being a proper Hindu, as
evidenced by your post, is to insult everyone at length.

Note that extremely significant Dvaitins tend to disagree with you on
this point.

Who needs to be a Westerner to get fooled - all you have to do is take
a look at what gets passed in this newsgroup as Hinduism to see that
even the Indians don't always have a solid foundation. Heck, Hinduism
Today's the place that talked about the $900 "Hindu tax", and it went
unnoticed in this group until I brought it up as a joke about a year
ago, and it's supposed to be the most popular Hindu newsmagazine.

Compared to what? How about this - pick 50 Indians in the US at
random, and pick 50 Hare Krishnas at random, and then compare them.
When we see articles like "Hinduism is like a video game," I don't
think there's all that much need to point to others and talk about
poor scholarship.
