some of us in the Dvaita mailing list are working on inviting one of the
Swamijis from the Udupi mutts to US this summer. As most of you would know,
swamijis (regardless of which school of thought they belong to) carry
items for puja and other things that they generally do not like to open
just anywhere, say a customs counter on an airport.
So, I would sincerely appreciate if those of you who have had any involvement
with such projects could kindly share what they did to minimize such
inconveniences to the travelling party. Anything like what Airlines to
take/avoid, airports for port of entry/depurture, certificates etc. that
may reduce the hassles is all useful information for us.
I understand that this is not fully related to the charter of this forum
but I request the moderator to post it because I think some of the readers
here will have the information that we a re looking for. The readers can
respond to me via email (dvaita@eskimo.com) to avoid unnecessary traffic
here.
