Religion is an expression of human desire to communicate with God.
Language is a communication medium between people and Religion is a
communication medium between human and God. Just like the languages,
religions are developed over time. Some languages are easy to
communicate and others were considered more difficult. Languages can be
scientifically evaluated on the basis of grammar, structure, alphabets,
etc. However, tradition, customs, needs and culture play significant
roles for their popularity. Religions are based on faith (belief) and
they can't be scientifically evaluated for their content and relevance.
Scientific facts can be logically tested and either can be rejected or
accepted. There is no logical way of testing religious viewpoints and we
can neither accept nor reject them. Pure Religion and science have the
common goal to find the TRUTH. Science postulates the TRUTH by
hypotheses and rejects the hypothesis when the evidence becomes
overwhelming. Pure religion negates the lies to find the TRUTH and this
ENQUIRY continues until all lies are negated! The general public adopts
any specific religion on the basis of their life style, family
traditions, culture and personal experience. The level of adoption of
any specific religion by two individuals is likely not the same! The
‘Hindu view', ‘Christian view' or ‘Islamic view' or ‘Buddhism view' etc.
can vary by individuals according to their level religious perception and
conviction. Let us understand this simple fact and try to cultivate
habits to listen to other viewpoints without prejudice and avoid jumping
into incorrect and inappropriate conclusions!
