Permit me to add that one of the reasons "Samskrit",
with "m" instead of "n", became a popular way of writing
it in this medium because Mahatma Gandhi always pronounced
it that way. People in certain regions of Bharat substitute
the m- for the n-nasalization, to put is simply. Such differences
can also be seen in the pronounciation of the "sh" sound with only
an "s" sound.
