Why? As far as I know vAmAchAra has been a part of the Indian culture
for a very long time. Not that I agree with it. All vaidika philosophies
condemn this approach, but the fact is that it has been around for a
long time (written records date back to 7-8 century AD).
While I would most definitely agree with you that this is not a suitable
philosophy, I don't see the need for a campaign here. Tantra, both vAma
and daxina paths, do come under the banner of Hinduism.
