I have never heard it being claimed that lopamudra, the wife of sage
agastya was a follower of vAma mArga. In fact, canonical daxiNa mArga
texts like the lalitA trishatI mention lopamudra. Usually the vAmAchara
texts claim that they were revealed by shiva to devI or devI to shiva.
Agastya is claimed to be one of the founders of the daxiNa mArga school
and lopamudra was also a follower of the same. The vAmamArga people
usually claim either dattAtreya or matseyendranath as one of their
founders.
