Please watch B.R.Chopra's TV serial "Mahabharata".He extensively covers
almost all parts of "Mahabharata" till the kuruskeshtra war ends.

Abhimanyu's widow's son is "Parishkitha" and his son Janumayjaya is the
last king of ChandraVamsha.

"Parishkitha" gets killed by a snake bite, basically a curse of a sage.

Kaurav's are depicted as bad guys because they follow adharma and
Pandavs as the good guys because they follow the real RajaDharma.
Krishna stays where the Dharma is,ie., Pandavas.

At the end when all padavas die on the way to heaven ,only Yudistira
goes to heaven and rest of them including Arjuna goes to hell.Yudistira
sees Kaurav's in heaven and questions Devandra about it and gets the
answer that Kaurav's have sinned most and done very little good work,
and they will spend their time initially in heaven for a little time and
then
go to hell and it is otherwise in case of pandavas.
