Has it occurred to anyone that Nike is in fact the name of the Greek
Goddess of victory? How is this relevant, you may ask - simple:

- Nike is a Greek Goddess
- we know that there was interaction between the ancient Greeks
and the ancient Indians
- therefore, the ancient Greeks borrowed Hindu ideas
- therefore, the ancient Greeks were Hindus
- therefore, the shoe company's name is an insult to all Hindus

Given the recent success of the Sony/Aerosmith thing, I say it's time
for another show of Hindu muscle-flexing - after all, why bother with
real problems when there are so many simple protests that can be
undertaken?

P.S. I saw a news story about music CD piracy in Eastern Europe where
they showed the Aerosmith CD _still_ being produced with the
original artwork by counterfeiters. Should we ask Sony to give
the new "Hindu-friendly" artwork to the counterfeiters?
