Brief research shows that the activities of the Federation
of Hindu Associations (FHA) include intense political
campaigning and similar activism. In the interests of
honesty, compliance with regulations on the organization's
part, and in keeping with Hindu Dharm, permit me to inquire
if such activties by the FHA are not a direct violation of their
charter which allegedly states:
"FHA is a non-profit organization under section
501 C(4) for cultural, religious, social, charitable, etc....
activity shall be limited to non-political goals..... "
