Some caution ought to be exercised when handling chakras. It might seem
rather trite to worry about such things, but when one undertakes the
opening of chakras the opening should be in sequence, starting from the
base to the crest. Opening a chakra and not having the experience of how
to handle the energy is an invitation for dire consequences. It is for
reasons such as these that such practices require the guidance of an
authentic perceptor.
As for any mantras for opening the chakras, I'm afraid that I have not
heard of any, nor do I believe that any such authentic mantras exist. The
opening of the chakras is traditionally done through the practice of yoga.
One does not earn merits if one does not strive!
I know it may sound "hooky", but exercise caution when it comes to tapping
spiritual energy.
