Do you teach the stories from the epics to your children?

I am a Graduate student researching the use of the epics by Indians in America. I would like to know 1) Do you expose your children to the epics, 2) if so, how (orally, by video, comic books, other), 3) why or why not--i.e. what do you hope they learn from the stories or why do you not teach them, if you do not?
