I have been chanting Gayatri Mantra for about a year.
Is there any restrictions while chanting Gayatri Mantra viz.
1) Facing towards the Sun.
2) Eating Vegetarian Diet.
3) Not chanting in bathroom, while driving, etc

Can one chant Gayatri Mantra without being formally initiated.
