Dravidians are dark-colored people of south? You got to be kidding! The main theme of the two great epics is about dark-colored Vishnu (Rama & Krishna). There is no pure Aryan or Dravidian culture now. The present culture is a mixture of both whether you are in south or north. How do you infer from Siva temples of Madras anything about Dravidians? Temple worship belongs to post-vedic period. Perhaps there existed an original Dravidian culture in Indian subcontinent before vedic period.
