I am interested in compiling several lists. The first one I want to compile is
a Directory of Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh Temples/Gurudwaras.
I would like this to become a directory of all such places of worship worldwide,
but would be willing to limit it to the Americas first. Please send me the
following information:
Name of Place of Worship:
Address:
City:
Country:
Phone:
Organizing Committe Contact: Name, Phone and Address.
Deities installed: (if Applicable)
Type of Laity Served: Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh, etc.
Typical Congregation Size:
Languages of Worship: Sanskrit, Hindi, Gurumukhi, Tamil, etc.
Hours of Operation:
Number and Name of Priests:
Main events throughout the year:
Types of Classes Offered:
Name of Magazine: (If published, and how often)
Name of Magazine Editor: Name, Phone and Address.
Additional Information: Any suuporting information that you think would be useful.
I think the Bharatiya population in the Americas is big enough and also mobile enough that we should
have a directory like this. But utlimately we want a world wide directory. So if you want to send me
information about countries other than the the ones in the Americas, I will be glad to include it in the
directory.
Thanks in advance.
