Need Info: Indian Mythology and Culture

I wanted to know if there is any place one can learn about Ancient Indian
Mythology and Culture. I found Amar Chitra Kathas a valuable resource
when I was a child. Keeping in mind that we students here in America
have very busy schedules, is there any place we can quickly learn so that
THE NEXT TIME AN AMERICAN FRIEND ASKS US ABOUT HINDU RELIGION, BELIEFS AND
TRADITIONS, we don't struggle to recall the things our grandparents had
taught us. Any help will be gratefully appriciated. Could you also please
email me a copy of the posting you post in reply to this. Thanks.
