Vijay Pai was kind enough to point to me that Madhavacarya who wrote
the SDS is different that Madhvacarya (vaisnava) who tought the dvaita
philosophy and to which the original article and my response was refering
to. I just thought I would acknowledge my mistake and avoid any confusion.
However as an aside, the reason for my reading the book SDS was to
familiarize myself with the philosophical systems it describes, of which
I think it does a good job.
The rest of the points in my posting about Sri Madhvacarya stay as is.
