Re: A comparison of mysticism in Christianity, Buddhism, & Hinduism (Web Site)

Years ago I was given a Sanskrit name by my guru. I decided not to
use it. Why? Because I couldn't find anything about this particular
character in Hindu mythology. The given name therefore did not hold
any meaning for me.

The name I was given was Chetananya. At least I think that is the
spelling. There's one other person in our community who received
that name; he routinely uses it in a shortened form, "Chetan".

Can anyone give me a lead or two on where I might look for this?
All I know now is that he was one of the (many) incarnations of
Krishna. If you could send this to my email address as well as
posting it, I'd appreciate it. Oftentimes I don't look at this
group for weeks because the volume of postings is not great.

Many thanks,
