Dear Mr. Ajay Shah, and all Readers!
Namaste.
I am glad to hear the appreciation of Ms. Jayashree's
adaptations of the most read Gita in the world - The
Bhagavadgita As It Is, by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. I also
think they are nicely done, and I am confident they will
appear soon again on the Net.
As you may be aware, although the Deva Nagari text of the
Gita is in the public domain and can be used/misused by
anyone, Bhaktivedanta Swami's translations and purports are
not. Now we are simply handling the minimum paper work
required for her authorization to publish the adaptations,
put the proper copyright notice, etc.
Yours truly, in the service of Lord Krishna
