The HSC Chapter at the University Of Maryland - College Park, held its
first meeting of the semester on Thursday, February 9. The topic was:
RELIGIOUS AWARENESS: A MEETING OF THE WORLD'S RELIGIONS
Various student speakers represented members of:
The Hindu Faith
The Baha'i Faith
The Catholic Faith
The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints - Mormonism
The discussion was held in a talk show format where the speakers were
given the questions ahead of time in order to prepare. Overall, the
discussion was very informative and the attendance was quite impressive.
We plan to hold a sequel to this meeting on Thursday, February 23. At that
time we will have speakers representing members of:
Jainism
Islam
Buddhism
Sikhism
Judaism
In the mean time, GOOD LUCK to all the other chapters!
