As far as I know, it is a simple bringing together of both hands - the
palm of one hand touching the palm of the other hand - in front of your
heart/chest.
There is symbolism behind this gesture. Will elaborate if you like.
Also, this is how indians greet each other, as western tradition
requires shaking of hands to greet each other.
