I find that when Pai talks with Vaishnava he is polite, goodnatured,
pleasant,
even humble.Over the years I have noted that some Vaishnava can be a little
clicquish, in that though they call themselves servants, they do tend to
treat
nonVaishnavites as demons or dummies. I suppose that is how Pai views the
world: Vaisnava against all, US AGAINST THEM.

>>The various devas are indeed different individuals, otherwise there would
be
>>no need for distinguishing among them.

>>Prabhupada did say that Allah, Jehovah, etc were also conceptions of
>>Krishna, but he always said that the Supreme Person was undoubtedly
Krishna,

Is he saying that Allah is a demigod? Earlier the lads said Allah was Raama.
Perhaps Pai will tell if in his view Siva is a demigod, and so too what about
Jehovah- is the Father of Jesus a demigod according to Pai's logic?

As for this part of his discourse:

>The understanding seen in the Gita is that although people worship various
>gods, the only enjoyer of the sacrifice is Sri Krishna (9.23, 9.24), and
>there is a distinction between the result achieved by worshippers of devas
>and of worshippers of Krishna (9.25). Similarly it is said that people
>worship devas for specific results and desires (7.20), but that Krishna is
>the one who makes those people's faith strong (7.21), and that the results
>are also actually coming from Krishna (7.22). This does not equate Krishna
>with any other deva, or for that matter any deva with any other deva.

HOORAY, he's right on the money. I mention this because I am truly happy to
have found something of his I can agree with wholeheartedly. Where we might
disagree is TELLING who is Krishna. Just as my father was called by his title

among his workers, so he was called by his nickname by my mother, and yet
there was only one man addressed. I do not suggest Ganesh is Krishna; I do
suggest Siva Brahma Vishnu Allah Jehovah Krishna Ahura Mazda are but
aspects/functions/names/forms of the Singular Supreme. Fortunately all this
does not depend on what I suggest or what the gang of four asserts; the wise
know Him however He is called.
