In a book of hymns that I have ("Hymns and Prayers, Advaita Ashrama"),
the devI aparAdha kshamApaNa stotram has been attributed to Adi sankarA.
The second line of the 5th verse goes
"mayA panchAshIteradhikamapanIte tu vayasi"
and has been translated as "I am not more than eighty-five years of age".
I thought Adi sankarA did not live beyond the age of 32 !
Do you think this stotram may have been wrongly attributed to him ?
Incidentally, this stotram is available in the (sanskrit) ITRANS Song Book
at http://chandra.cis.brown.edu/isongs/sanskrit/sindex.html
