Dear Friends:
It appears that there is emotional hurt at play here. Sri Ajay Shah is
obviously a busy man, and I do not believe that he intentionally delays
forwarding any posts. I believe that he has been fair in acting as the
moderator, and has not imposed personal opinions to determine suitability
of posts.
>From reading various followup posts on this subject, it appears to me
that the SRH reorganization plan is intended to make the turnaround
time of posts faster. This is a good objective, and I understand that
faster turnaround will add vigor to discussions, and I welcome that.
However, I can not understand why we have to engage in statements like,
"we offered Sri Shah moderatorship once", other than to illustrate an
emotional gulf.
Perhaps, as alleged, this distance is created by the announcement of
non-hinduship of "some" vaisnavas. I have no idea how such an astounding
conclusion was reached, and it is shocking to me. From reading the posts
in this thread, it appears that it is insinuated that the proponents of SRH
reorganization are among these "non-Hindus". However, I believe that not all
of the reorganization proponents agree with that position. Since this appears
to be the main sticking point, if I may, I would request that another round
of discussion is done on this subject so that the torn fabric of emotions
could be sewn back.
With best regards,
Dhruba.
