I hope your post will be useful in arriving at some compromise
formula. it might be useful, if you consider giving your views
on some more issues raised earlier: i can recollect some
[just paraphrasing from memory]
(1) do you support the ideas of separation of pure religious
posts from call for actions/ political discussions?
[i think, here the argument is not whether to allow political
or call-for-action posts or not, but whether to separate them
into two different groups]
(2) do you have any "personal" objections to the proposed
moderators, that you can list?
(3) if you have objection to any of them, do you have any
recommendations for some others?
(4) will you kindly agree to be one of the moderators [who
ever they might be -- the proposed ones, or to be proposed
ones], since you can see that there is strong demand from
s.r.h. readers for you to continue and even the proponents
have always been asking for that?
[you might consider expressing your views in prvt mail to
any proponents, if experssing them publicly can hurt
others]
hope something works out.
