Vaaheguroo ji ka Khalsa Vaaheguroo ji ki Fateh!
Please note that this is NOT Guru Ramdas ji's own words, but poetry
written by somebody else, and not a Sikh Guru. It is about as relevant
to the issue as me writing poetry that the Shankarcharya of Puri himself
supervised the construction of babri Masjid in Ayodhya.
Ignored here has been the necessity to mention that it is
not Gurbani. For anyone interested in Sikhsim's view of idol worship,
there are innumerable instances in Gurbani and Sikh history which
clearly and unambiguously forbid Sikhs to worship idols, trees, ancestors,
gods, animals and so on. More discussion about this belongs on
soc.religion.sikhism and I will be glad to discuss this on that
newsgroup.
