This is for Patricia World , Gary Stevason and anyone on Conversion to Hinduism:-
Gary, Pat,
This is to explain about conversion to hinduism. There are alot of miscommunications regarding this
matter especially by some by those who highly fanatical. Let me explain this part in an honest hindu
way.
In Hinduism there is no such thing as conversion as Hinduism was neither an exported nor an imported
religion. Hinduism existed in the Indus Valley (by Dravidians) long before 10,000 BC. As such, no one
has claim to this religion except God. Due to the age and the environment around which hinduism
originated, there was no need for conversion because hinduism is based on the philosophy of God.
Therefore anyone believing in true heart and mind in God is automatically a hindu. Hinduism never
dictated in anyway about rules and regulations about the religion. There were only guides. Therefore
any who prays and believes in Dharma is a Hindu. Hinduism's true and original name is "Sanathana
Dharma" or Eternal Truth (english does not have a proper equivalent for "Dharma").
So, Pat and Gary, you need not convert to become a hindu. Just be a Hindu that's all there is to it.
Please do not believe anyone who says you can't be a hindu. The one who says this is not a true
Hindu. Welcome to Hinduism and its philosophy.
