Re: ARTICLE : Saguna and Nirguna Brahman (was Re: ARTICLE : Just say no ..)
Hello,
My name is Arjun Menon, I study at RPI, and have been a follower of
Hinuism since I died my hundredth death! My email is
menona@rpi.edu
.... I am currently using someone-else's log-in session!
This is a message from Krishna to Arjuna, in the Bagawath Gita,
in the third chapter THE KARMA YOGA.

25 As the "ignorent men act from attachment to action, O Bharatha, so
should the "wise" men act without attachment, wishing the welfare of the
world.
26 Let no wise-man unsettle the minds of ignorant-people, who are
attached to action; he should engatge them in all actions, himself
fullfilling them with devotion.
27 All actions are performed, in all cases, merely by the
Qualities-in-Nature (GUNAS). He, whose mind is deluded by egoism,
thinks "I am the doer".
28 But he--who knows the Truthm I mighty-armed, about the divisions of
the qualities and (their) functions, and he who knows that
GUNAS-as-senses move amidst GUNAS-as-objects, is not attached.
29 Those men who constantly practice this teaching of Mine, full of
faith and without cavilling, they too are freed from actions.

I was wondering about anybody's interpretation of these verses.
I have an answer for it, but I'd like to hear from others first.
This is also another answer to the one I answered to the
article "There should be no outraging of faith by obscenity and
slander". It was on the usenet, here is the reference.
