YES!!!! I know that Sannyasins are buried, because in the Mahabharata, when
Yudhishthira goes to meet Vidura in the forest after the great war, he finds
Vidura dead(Vidura runs away to avoid the sight of Yudhishthira and dies).
A voice is heard,"Do not cremate Vidura, for he lived like a Sannyasin.Bury him"
BUT I HEARD that Vivekananda was cremated. Was he? If so why?

PS: I HEARD that sister Nivedita, when she was sitting and weeping near the
cremation fire of Swami Vivekananda, suddenly felt that she should have retained
something of the garment of the Swami. That was when a small piece of his
saffron robe (which was being cremated along with the body) flew towards her.
