Ok, I haven't actually read those chapters yet..but still I don't see
why Arjuna could NOT be self-realized, this doesn't have to have
happened when he was accompanied by Shri Krishna, after all, Krishna
told Arjuna the story (Bhagavata-Gita) because it was lost, and so, it
had to be learned again..."Don't worry" IMHO is something you say to
comfort someone with whom you have a meaningfull understanding, so even
though he was/was not Self-Realized, wouldn't YOU like to hear Shri
Krishna telling you NOT TO WORRY ? Even a self realized person would
love to hear that, I would say, altough it could be something he/she
already understands than, nevertheless it's slightly different when
GOD sais it to you, wouldn't you agree ?
as for easier and easier ways to worship...In the end, it is not
quite important how complicated you do your worshipping, it's the
thought behind it that counts, so Shri Krishna was, in a decent way,
making Arjuna understand that actually worshipping doesn't have to
be that complicated, actually if I remember correctly something like this
is said in the BG (sorry, can't find it that quick), but it is something
like: the way you worship is less important than the thought behind it,
or something in that direction...
Finally....What SHOULD Shri Krishna HAVE said then ? after all, suppose
Arjuna is Self-Realized..So ? then he "understands"..so whe shouldn't talk or
comfort such people, just because they are self-realized ?
hmmm...this reply has grown way beyond my intention, and I seem to have,
yet again, ended with a question...sorry!
Yours sincerely,
Prewien. [Prewienji ;-) ]
