Hello,

I am trying to find some information about hindu cremation rituals.  I am
interested in the "transitional period", when the soul is between host
bodies.  I have seen the term "preta" and would like to know more about
this term and the ritual around death and cremation.

If any one has information to pass along or the name of a book or journal
with this information, I would sincerely appreciate it.
