WHAT ARE THOUGHTS...



I have recently been introduced to a form of meditation 
in which there area few thinkgs to keep in mind for 
successful meditation.

1:	do not reject thoughts(let them come as they may)
2:	do not create thoughts
3:	do not hold the thoughts
4:	do not follow thoughts

While I do not dispute the effect of this form of meditation,
my rational thinking has lot of questions. What is the
difference between the thoughts just coming your way and YOU
creating the thoughts. Meaning how can thoughts come to you 
without you creating them.

Did anyboyd have to deal with such things before and find any
answers. People practicing meditation may have some 
understanding. Can you please enlighten me.
